Terms and Conditions

Terms and conditions are used to describe the agreement that consumers make with MyRyd when using the company’s airport taxi service. If you have booked an airport transfer with us, that means that you have accepted our terms and conditions automatically.

 

1. Definitions

The terms “we”, “us” and “our” used in the agreement mean MyRyd as a company specializing in airport transfers in London. The terms “you” or “your” used in the agreement mean a person who is booking an airport taxi service with MyRyd.

 

2. Booking

2.1 You are responsible for arriving on time. When booking airport transfers, you should arrive to the airport for your flight at a certain time. Plan your trip and make sure that you will have enough time to arrive to the necessary destination. At MyRyd, we are not responsible for any delays if you haven’t arrived on time and our drivers couldn’t pickup you.

2.2 When booking an airport taxi service, it’s your responsibility to select a car of the right size. We are not responsible for carrying an excessive amount of luggage. Make sure that a car of your choice suits all passengers and fits the size of your luggage. Bear in mind that a child is counted as a passenger.

2.3 It’s your responsibility to inform us if you have a passenger who needs wheelchair access. Please, let us know about this when booking an airport taxi service.

 

3. Prices & Payment

3.1 When booking an airport transfer, you have to fill in an online form and provide us with the necessary information. After that, MyRyd will give you a service quote. The service price is based on the details that you’ve provided during the booking process. Additional charges such as VAT may be included in the price. Our taxi company reserves the right to make changes to the quote after the booking process is complete.

3.2 The quote provided by MyRyd includes the cost of parking at the airport. However, we calculate the prices taking into consideration the fact that waiting period after the stated landing time lasts no longer than 45 minutes. The excess of this time has to be paid according to our waiting rate. Our company doesn’t take responsibility for delays in flights. However, we always track flights and try our best to adjust airport taxi service to serve clients in the best possible way.

3.3 Once you accept a quote, you have to confirm a booking. You have to check all the details carefully and confirm that the information provided is correct. If you see any mistakes, you have to inform us as soon as possible. If you don’t notify us about mistakes ahead of time, we’ll not take responsibility for any delays that may happen or any additional costs that you may be required to pay because of mistakes.

3.4 You can use credit and dept cards to pay for an airport taxi service or pay cash to a driver after a trip.

 

4. The Service

4.1 You are responsible for behavior of all passengers during a taxi trip that you’ve booked. If one of passengers damages the vehicle during the journey, you will be required to pay additional charges to cover the extra costs.

4.2 Passengers are not allowed to eat, drink and smoke in a vehicle.    

4.3 If you have children, you will take responsibility for their behavior in a car during a taxi trip.

4.5 Our drivers work according to their licensing and insurance policies. It’s not allowed to carry more passengers than it is stated in these policies.            

 

5. Cancellations

5.1 If you need to cancel a taxi booking trip with MyRyd, please, contact us as soon as possible. You don’t have to pay any charges if you make a cancellation before a driver has been dispatched to your location.      

5.2 If you cancel a booking online, charges may be deducted from a refund.    

 

6. Liability

6.1 Our drivers do everything they can to arrive at the necessary destination on time. However, there are the situations when things go out of control. We are not responsible for any losses which have been caused by delays.

6.2 We are not responsible for carrying your luggage. 

6.3 If a vehicle breaks down during your trip, we’ll do our best to provide you with an alternative car as soon as possible and help you reach the necessary destination without delays.

6.4 MyRyd is not responsible for any damages, losses, expenses or costs that have been caused by anyone in your party.

6.5 It’s impossible to exclude or limit liability for personal injury or death which has been caused by negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation or willful default, or for any other matter which is classed as unenforceable by applicable laws.

 

7. Termination

7.1 At MyRyd, we have the right to refuse or terminate a booking anytime if we find out that you or any other passengers put a vehicle or a driver at risk. We terminate bookings when abuse and violence is demonstrated or damage is caused by passengers during a taxi trip. Passengers get no refunds if a journey is terminated.

 

8. Miscellaneous

8.1 MyRyd has responsibilities which have been described in this agreement. You don’t have the right to assign, change, delegate or transfer the responsibilities or rights which have been described in the agreement.

8.2 We reserve the right to change terms and conditions anytime. If any changes are made, you will see them on this page. We encourage you to check our terms and conditions from time to time. So, you’ll be aware of any changes that have been made.

8.3 At MyRyd, we respect the laws. We protect personal data of our customers and act according to the guidelines of the Data Protection Act of 1988 when using, storing and processing the information.

8.4 Terms and condition is the agreement between MyRyd (an airport taxi service provider) and you (a passenger). 

8.5 No third party can benefit from these terms and conditions. No third party is allowed to enforce the rights under this agreement.    

 

9. Disputes

Passengers have the right to make a dispute within 30 days of pickup time. At MyRyd, we are not required to react to any claims and disputes which haven’t been made within this time frame.
